Stallions Score 17 Unanswered Points in Second Half

Birmingham, AL - The Birmingham Stallions rallied back from a 10-point deficit to defeat the Michigan Panthers 31-18 in the USFL Conference Championship Game on Saturday night. The Panthers took an early lead in the game, but the Stallions fought back to tie it at 18-18 in the third quarter. Birmingham then scored 17 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to secure the victory. Stallions quarterback Alex McGough threw for 240 yards and two touchdowns, while running back Bo Scarbrough rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown. The Stallions defense also had a strong performance, forcing three turnovers and sacking Panthers quarterback Shea Patterson four times. The Stallions will now advance to the USFL Championship Game, where they will face the Philadelphia Stars. The championship game will be played on July 3 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio.
